William Lane Craig is Not a Canaanite!

Based on the "William Lane Craig is NOT" series.

Canaanites are also known as Phoenicians. The reason why I am calling them Canaanites is because the Bible and WLC call them Canaanites.

WLC is a religious apologist. Apologists have a hard time with cruelty in the Bible. William has an answer about the Canaanite slaughter.

Here is the paragraph I want to focus on.

"So whom does God wrong in commanding the destruction of the Canaanites? Not the Canaanite adults, for they were corrupt and deserving of judgement. Not the children, for they inherit eternal life. So who is wronged? Ironically, I think the most difficult part of this whole debate is the apparent wrong done to the Israeli soldiers themselves. Can you imagine what it would be like to have to break into some house and kill a terrified woman and her children? The brutalizing effect on these Israeli soldiers is disturbing."

' Not the Canaanite adults, for they were corrupt and deserving of judgement.'
--- WLC

Shouldn't hell do the job. You say that there is an afterlife in the next sentence. Also, what did they did wrong that made them deserve such harsh punishment?

' Not the children, for they inherit eternal life.'
--- WLC

Yes, but how would it be to go though the dying process. Especially, as a child?

'I think the most difficult part of this whole debate is the apparent wrong done to the Israeli soldiers themselves. Can you imagine what it would be like to have to break into some house and kill a terrified woman and her children? The brutalizing effect on these Israeli soldiers is disturbing.'
--- WLC

This is puzzling, if you're read Exodus 15:3, 11. In the first verse it says Yahweh is a war god, and in the second verse the Israelites praise Yahweh, for being the best GOD of the gods(polytheism, btw). Thus, there praising him for war. Thus, they should* be able(without fear) be able to commit war.

--- Thanks for reading!

NOTES:
1: Just because they probably are, that doesn't mean are. However, it would be unlikely due to the evidence.
