I am a Linux fan and according to Ballmer Linux is communism. Okay, so let's define Communism.
According to Dictionary.com Communism is
a theory or system of social organization based on the holding of all property in common, actual ownership being ascribed to the community as a whole or to the state.Since everything owns everything(if I got the definition right) in a Communist world there is no private property. I don't want to live in a Communist world. Let's see if I could at least tolerate living in a socialist world.
According to Dictionary.com Socialism is
a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole. So basically in socialist community you HAVE give to anyone who asks. Right? I am sure I don't want to live in a socialist world.
CORRECTION:
As William pointed out socialism is idea that everyone gets equal wages. I don't like the theory. However, I think with a few modifications the theory could actually work.
If I got the definition of Communism and Socialism wrong please correct me.
Now, I don't agree with capitalism(but I have to put up with it). I think (like I said earlier) that socialism should have a few modifications. Then I would present my own view on economics should be(I would have to older to give me creditably(to most people NOT all))
Communism definition looks correct but socialist I thought meant everyone get's everyone equal resources (so doctors and Mcdonalds employees would get the same wage).
ReplyDelete@William Oh, thank you for that. Still, I don't agree with the socialist theory.
