Blogging the Bible Genesis 1 PART 3 'The 3rd Day'

Where were we?:
Yahweh created the heaven even though he was hovering over the waters. Which implied the heavens already existed.

Let's see what Yahweh has in store for us this day of creation.

'And God said, "Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear"; and it was so.'
-- Genesis 1:9 KJ21

Let's focus on one part.

' "Let the waters under the heaven be GATHERED TOGETHER UNTO ONE PLACE" '

I am sure water isn't gathered in one place. If you look at a world map you can see water isn't gathered in one place.

'And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called He Seas; and God saw that it was good.'
-- Genesis 1:10 KJ21

Yahweh is just calling stuff again. Next verse please!

'And God said, "Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth"; and it was so.'
-- Genesis 1:11 KJ21

Is Yahweh talking about evolution? Let's see.

' "Let the earth bring forth grass" '

Yahweh is creating grass. That's not evolution.

' "the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth" '

I don't know about you but that sounds a lot like evolution.

'And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind; and God saw that it was good.'
-- Genesis 1:12 KJ21

Yahweh saw evolution was good. Take that Juedo-Christian creationists!

'And the evening and the morning were the third day.'
-- Genesis 1:13 KJ21

Sadly, that means we're done. Be sure to tune in next time for the 4th day!
